Oriental Tapestry

I invite you to produce an oriental wall-hanging with me.

You'll receive the complete material for a Suff wall hanging: 45x101 knots (ca 27x58 cm). I personally will teach you how to tie the original Ghiordes knot with a long thread. The wool is of highest quality and colourfast. You'll work with a pattern to knot the filigree picture; afterwards I will treat the surface so that the pattern really will come out perfectly. In the end you'll add fringes to finish off your little treasure.

Package:

  • Accommodation four one week in the holiday apartment (four persons-non-smokers)
    Including final cleaning and visitor's tax
  • Complete material for a Saff of your choice (or one of 200 other patterns) as described above, including surface treatment
  • All the necessary equipment (scissors, needles, workbench etc) will be provided
  • Personal supervision during your stay
